I. Introduction

II. What is a cookie?

These cookies produce only anonymised statistics and do not provide information on individual visitors.

3. Social media and partners cookies
Social media and partners cookies allow you to share our sites content with other people or tell people what you think about content on the site. A number of sharing buttons are integrated into our site using third-party applications that could issue this type of cookie. This is true, for example, of Facebooks "like" and "share" buttons, as well as the "Twitter", "Google+", "YouTube" and "Instagram" buttons. The social network providing the button in question may be able to use that button application to identify you, even if you do not click on the relevant button while visiting our site. Indeed, that type of button application may allow the relevant social network to see your browsing activity on our site if your account with that social network is active on your device (i.e. an open session) while you are browsing our site. 4. Targeting and advertising cookies 

These cookies collect information about your browsing habits in order to make as much as possible advertising relevant to you and your interests. This information is then used to deliver adverts more relevant to you and your interests. They are also used to limit the number of times you see an advertisement as well as to help measure the effectiveness of the advertising campaign. These cookies can be placed by us or third parties including advertising networks. These cookies remember which websites you have visited and this information can be shared with other organisations such as advertisers. These cookies and the relating data processing is subject to the privacy and cookie policies of those third parties.

Among advertising cookies that may be used on this website, you will in particular find cookies operated by the company Booking.com. Such cookies are meant to inform you as best as possible on travel-linked opportunities (such as hotels) for locations where football events take place for which you have shown interest. 

IV. Tracking pixels

In addition to the four categories of cookies described above, our website may use so-called "tracking pixels" in order to follow the effectiveness of various elements (including advertising aspects) of our website. Such tracking pixels are very small 1x1 pixel images integrated within different pages of our website.

Whenever you visit our website, the tracking pixel sends some limited information to the pixel server, including possibly your IP address. This information is only meant and used for statistical purposes in relation to (i) the number of different users of our website, (ii) the number and types of pages visited, as well as (iii) the effectiveness of advertisement strategies.

a. Blocking audience-measuring cookies

Audience-measuring cookies have been placed on our site by Google Analytics.

Please note that the add-on will save a cookie on your device, but that cookie will be used only to prevent your browser from transmitting data to Google Analytics.
